Benefit Airship LLC – Non-Discrimination Policy
Updated 11/23/2025
Benefit Airship (“Benefit Airship,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to providing fair, respectful, and equitable access to our products and services. We believe all individuals deserve to engage with our company free from discrimination, harassment, or bias. This Non-Discrimination Policy explains our practices and important limitations regarding benefit administration, eligibility rules, and regulatory requirements.
1. Policy Statement
Benefit Airship strictly prohibits discrimination, exclusion, or differential treatment of any individual based on:
-
Age
-
Race, color, or ethnicity
-
National origin or ancestry
-
Religion or belief
-
Sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression
-
Marital or family status
-
Disability or medical condition
-
Genetic information
-
Veteran or military status
-
Language proficiency or immigration status
-
Any other characteristic protected under applicable federal, state, or local laws
This commitment applies to all interactions with customers, partners, employees, agents, brokers, and business users of our services.
2. Important Limits and Carrier-Controlled Requirements
Benefit Airship aggregates and distributes benefit programs and insurance products from licensed carriers, third-party administrators (TPAs), and service partners.
We do not control carrier underwriting rules, eligibility limits, benefit plan structures, or legally required restrictions.
Therefore:
-
Any limitations, exclusions, or requirements that apply to an insurance plan or benefit product are defined solely by the carrier or plan sponsor, not Benefit Airship.
-
Carrier-mandated rules may include age limits, residency requirements, waiting periods, pre-existing condition rules where legally permitted, enrollment windows, documentation requirements, or other compliance-driven criteria.
-
When such rules exist, Benefit Airship facilitates access to the carrier’s products but does not set or modify these conditions.
Benefit Airship is not liable for any carrier-determined benefit limitations, eligibility decisions, claims determinations, or required documentation.
3. Employer Compliance Responsibilities
Businesses using Benefit Airship products or services are solely responsible for:
-
Understanding and complying with all federal, state, and local laws governing employee benefits, including but not limited to ACA, ERISA, ADA, HIPAA, COBRA, Section 125, and nondiscrimination testing rules.
-
Ensuring that their internal employment practices—including eligibility decisions, enrollment administration, employee classification, and benefit contribution strategies—are compliant.
-
Avoiding discriminatory conduct toward their employees or applicants when offering benefits.
Benefit Airship provides tools and access to benefit programs, but we do not provide legal advice, do not determine employer benefit policy, and do not oversee employer compliance activities.
4. Scope of This Policy
This policy applies to all areas of Benefit Airship operations, including but not limited to:
-
Customer service and support
-
Enrollment processes and benefit delivery
-
Claims assistance and care navigation
-
Sales, marketing, advertising, and communications
-
Employment, hiring, training, and workplace culture
-
Interactions with carriers, vendors, partners, and contractors
-

5. Accessibility and Inclusion Commitments
Benefit Airship strives to make our services accessible to as many individuals as possible. We offer:
-
Free language assistance for individuals with limited English proficiency
-
Reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities
-
Support resources designed to be culturally sensitive, inclusive, and respectful
While we work to provide accessible services, some accessibility features may depend on third-party systems or carrier platforms outside our control.
6. Reporting Concerns
If you believe you have been subjected to discrimination by Benefit Airship, you may file a report with our Compliance Department at any time.
We will:
-
Review all reports promptly and respectfully
-
Maintain confidentiality to the extent permissible by law
-
Prohibit retaliation of any kind against individuals who make a report in good faith
However, Benefit Airship is not responsible for discrimination claims that arise from:
-
Employer actions
-
Carrier or TPA decisions
-
Health-care provider conduct
-
Government rules, regulations, or mandated eligibility criteria
Such concerns should be directed to the appropriate party.
7. No Guarantee of Benefit Eligibility or Coverage
While we are committed to fairness and equal access, Benefit Airship:
-
Cannot guarantee eligibility, approval, or coverage
-
Cannot override carrier underwriting or claims determinations
-
Cannot provide benefits outside the rules set by the plan sponsors or carriers
-
Cannot enforce nondiscrimination requirements on external entities
8. Ongoing Commitment
We continuously review our policies, training, accessibility practices, and compliance procedures to maintain alignment with applicable laws and industry standards. Diversity, inclusion, fairness, and respect are core to our mission—and essential to the trust placed in us by our customers and partners.
